Psychological Astrology
"Psychology textbooks of future generations will look back on modern psychologists working without the aid of astrology as being like medieval astronomers working without the aid of a telescope" - Richard Tarnas
Rather than being about predictions, psychological astrology views the birth chart as an intricate and detailed map of the psyche and offers a key to self knowledge and personal growth. Complexes, patterns of behavior, gifts, and life challenges can be revealed in the birth chart. Because of this, astrological readings can be a powerful tool for self discovery and healing. It was Carl Jung who first began using astrology in psychoanalysis.
What my clients often tell me they appreciate most about astrology is that it affirms their deepest knowing of their true self and helps them to understand their authentic nature. Because of this, they come to a greater understanding and acceptance of themselves.
To truly appreciate what astrology has to offer one needs to experience it first hand from a knowledgeable astrologer.
A Good Astrology Reading Will:
-
Affirm your deepest knowing of yourself: Your desires, longings and sense of who you are.
-
Assist you in becoming more clear of your life path and focus.
-
Help you to come to a greater understanding of your unique strengths, gifts and talents, and offer ways to tend to these gifts so they can better manifest in your life.
-
Explore your feelings and attitudes toward relationships: What you may value and be drawn to and how to work with your beliefs so you may have a greater understanding of how to create what you want.
-
Further your understanding of your challenges and provide ideas of how to work with them so you can move forward in your life.
-
Look at how you can best nurture yourself so you can feel more relaxed and safe.
-
Reflect on your possible patterns of relating to yourself, the world, and others so you may become more aware of how these patterns help or hinder you -- and how to possibly work with them.
